For Australian tourists, Naomi White, 66, and Peter White, 68, the abundance of food was an eye opener into the variety of Malaysian cuisine.
"There are so many choices that we simply don't know which to try first.
"We heard about this Ramadan bazaar from our Malaysian friends and are ready to experience it," said Naomi, a retired university professor from Melbourne.
Her husband, Peter, said he looked forward to indulging in the local food and was eager to try some otak-otak.
The Ramadan bazaar is an excellent avenue for budding businessmen.
Trader Monarita Mokhtar, 36, who sells her famous home-made jellies and pudding cakes, has been trading at Ramadan bazaars for the past six years.
